Titanbet Review

Titanbet is run under PT Entertainment Services which is a subsidiary of publicly-listed company and online gaming software developer Playtech.

Founded in 2009 it has made bold moves to establish itself especially in the UK market with sponsorships at numerous racecourses such as Lingfield, York, Dundalk and more. Titanbet is also the official sponsor of the West Stand at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough stadium as part of its partnership with the club. In 2014 it agreed a deal to sponsor a daily betting tipster column by Andy Totham in The Sun newspaper.

As of 2015 former Liverpool and England star John Barnes is brand ambassador.

Betting markets

Titanbet has now been on the scene a few years and has extensive betting markets across sports. The Titan brand also includes a good virtual sports product alongside the classics such as a live casino, over 400 casino games and bingo. This is in addition to its hugely popular poker offering.

Its sportsbook includes a strong selection of markets on traditional sports, a decent MMA market and novelty and politics options. Notably though it still lacks any esports markets at the time of writing (February 2016).

Inplay betting

Titanbet continues to add to its live betting markets and it does the job quite admirably. Its functionality is strong, and customers are able to view a timer of the any selected live event in addition to match stats such as for football, the number of cards, corners, free kicks etc in alongside the score.

The bookmaker offers a range of inplay betting markets across sports such as football, tennis, basketball, cricket, basketball, baseball, rugby and golf.

Usability of the site

The site is relatively well designed from an end user perspective though it incorporates a high number of icons along the top bar, which are unnecessary and make it look a little busy and clunky. That aside it’s a sleek and simple design, with a search bar a useful tool that all too many betting sites still inexplicably lack.

There is a Titanbet app for both Android and iOS operating systems and both have been well received in terms of function and user experience.

In terms of customer support there is an online chat system which has reasonably fast response times initially though in terms of actually dealing with simple questions it can be more time consuming than it should. There is also email support ([email protected]) and a free hotline to call from the UK (0800 327 7261) 8:00 to 24:00 GMT.

Helpfully, it does include a single wallet meaning players that wish to stake money on poker and sports markets do not need to move their money around. Withdrawals can be something of a lengthy process however and often somewhat longer than the standard 3 days.

An extensive list of payment providers are accepted, these include: Visa/Mastercard, Skrill (Moneybookers), Paypal, entropay, PaysafeCard, Neteller, Bank Transfer, Click2Pay and more.

Conclusion

Titanbet is a competitive relative newcomer to a crowded sports betting operator scene, it offers good value odds across the board and its simple layout is well designed for novice bettors. A strong inplay betting product is complimented by its intuitive apps, but its user support and withdrawal times somewhat let it down.

It features a blog but this frankly lets it down, output is irregular and inconsistent and it’s a world away from the award winning Unibet blog for instance.

For an innovative brand it’s also surprising that it is yet to launch esports markets.
