BetFirst’s slogan is ‘First in Fun. First in Cash’ which reads somewhat strangely but you get the idea. The Belgian bookmaker has been around for a few years now and is fairly well established with a generous welcome bonus for new customers.
The company behind BetFirst is called Sagevas S.A., and whilst the bookie isn’t particularly well known across Europe and globally it is both well regarded and popular in Belgium where it holds its licence. This is an operator which is focused well and truly on sports betting, though it offers both virtuals and casino options too.
The site is in French rather than English from the get go but has English as an option too.

BetFirst is sports focused and has a tremendous range of options to cater to all sports and betting fans. The bookmaker also offers some specials markets such as politics and entertainment, and it boasts virtuals options too. It’s nice to see some esports options in there though these were fairly lacking during research.
The usual suspects make up the sports options but there is quite a wide base with the likes of winter sports and Futsal making an appearance. BetFirst does not offer horse racing.
Live betting
Live betting is an ever more vital part of a bookmaker’s armoury, and BetFirst is well equipped in this department.
Inplay is one of five main categories on the homepage, and there are plenty of options in this regard. The layout and design could be a little sleeker but it does the job, and when a user clicks on an individual match they’re shown some data, live stats and so on.
They could improve on the presentation of this data however as once you’ve clicked through to one match you’re a little overwhelmed with numbers and other markets down either side.

Conclusion
BetFirst is Belgium’s leading bookmaker for a reason; it offers a strong amount of markets, it offers both lots of sports options, inplay, virtuals but also casino.
On desktop it’s easy to use and the mobile option is strong to boot. There’s an app on both Android and the App store, and a separate first mobile bonus bet too.
