TLCBet Sportsbook Review

TLCBet is an bookmaker based in the Philippines which was founded in 2010. It has previously been known as TLC 188 and TLC 88 but has now seemingly settled on the name TLCBet.

It is licensed and regulated in the Isle of Man and run via platform provider TGP Europe. This firm also runs sportsbooks including Jenningsbet, 138.com, Setantabet and has the SBTech platform in its roster too. TLCBet has a UKGC licence.

TLCBet loves establishing deals in the Premier League. In 2014 it became the official betting Partner of Sunderland AFC. The bookmaker also became a betting partner of Middlesbrough following their promotion to the EPL in 2016. Middlesbrough Head of Partnerships Lee Fryatt stated: “The company will further enhance our growing reputation in Asia, and we are looking forward to working with TLCBet throughout the coming season.”

TLCBet signed a deal with West Bromwich Albion to become the club’s official kit sponsors in 2015. This was the bookmaker’s first shirt sponsorship arrangement and it followed a primary deal in 2013 with West Brom which saw the bookie become the club’s official Asian betting partner. Mike Chong, Brand Director of TLCBet, stated at the time: “Following our success in the Far East, this deal amplifies our ambitions to put the TLCBET brand onto the global stage. This collaboration will be mutually beneficial and we are confident that we can help promote West Bromwich Albion to our customers in China.”

TLCBet is not particularly vocal on social media. This is strange in this day and age where due to the highly competitive market of online bookmakers almost all have a presence and invest both time and money into it at least the likes of Facebook and Twitter. TLCBet also does not have any brand ambassadors of note, but this may change in the near future.

Betting Markets

The TLCBet site is very modern and down the left hand side customers can see all of the sports upon which they may be with a small graphic next to each too. Listed in full for you here are all of those sports: football, horse racing, golf, tennis, American football, Aussie Rules, badminton, bandy, baseball, basketball, boxing, chess, cricket, cycling, darts, esports, futsal, handball, ice hockey, MMA, motor racing, rugby league, rugby union, snooker, Pool, Speedway, surfing, volleyball and winter sports.

TLCBet also offers punters specials and poker in terms of betting offerings. The specials include a basic offering of entertainment and politics markets.

Live Betting

With such a modern site customers will rightly expect that TLCBet’s live betting product will be equally modern and entertaining. They’d be right to expect this and TLCBet delivers on this count. The layout is easy on the eye, sleek and the design is intuitive to boot.

TLCBet does not offer any live streaming as of the time of writing and this is a major area in which it could improve its inplay product.

Usability of the site

The TLC bet site is excellent in that it keeps its design fresh and clean. As an example and evidence of this it only has three main headings along the top horizontal bar, these are sports, casino and live casino.

Betting is entertainment and so fun is a central part of an operator’s design but it is one which is oft forgotten. TLCBet does not forget this and it makes sure that fun is a central part of its product. TLCBet also includes a cash out feature which is generally very well regarded amongst punters.

In terms of banking options TLCBet mostly has you covered and in addition to the usual suspects of Visa and Mastercard, there are also e-wallets such as Neteller, Moneybookers and Skrill. It does not however allow users to utilise PayPal.

So what of customer support? TLCBet has an email support contact and it has live chat too! You can contact TLCbet customer support at [email protected].

Conclusion

The TLCBet site is thoroughly modern and a younger demographic will feel right at home on both the desktop and mobile site. It has a good selection of sports markets on which to bet on but if politics or novelty markets are your game then you are better served elsewhere.

TLCBet is still a market newcomer having only started life in 2010 but with high profile deals already in place with the likes of West Brom and Middlesbrough in the Premier League it seems to be a bookmaker that is going places.
