Dhoze Sportsbook Review
Based in Malta, the Dhoze sportsbook and casino are focused on Spanish and Portuguese speaking Latin American markets and the site is available in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Dhoze means twelve in Portuguese.
In 2014 Betsson acquired the site meaning Dhoze now operates under the growing umbrella of the Swedish company. Dhoze itself was founded in 2008.
In terms of social media there is a link to a Dhoze Twitter account still on the main site though it hasn’t been updated since September 2015. Dhoze also operates a presence on Facebook and Youtube though neither are used well or at all often.
Betting markets
Dhoze includes a number of sports for you to bet on! The full list is detailed here: Football, Olympics, Basketball, Tennis, Formula 1, Motorbikes, Motorsports, Cycling, Handball, Golf, Volleyball, Boxing, MMA, Ice Hockey, American Football, Baseball, Cricket, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Aussie Rules, Darts, Pesapallo, Bandy, Speedway, Esports, Pool, Winter Sports and Gaelic Sports.
In addition to all of these it also offers markets in Music. It does not offer Virtual Sports or Politics.
In-play betting
The Dhoze sportsbook includes live betting options across many sports though the product itself could do with some modernising.
There is a Dhoze live betting calendar however and it’s presented reasonably well with featured events showing match events on the Livebet main page. There is no Dhoze live streaming available at the time of writing.
Usability of the site
The Dhoze colour scheme of black, grey and green isn’t the most welcoming though the site is quite modern and simply laid out. As with the vast majority of sportsbooks the sports markets it offers are listed down the left hand side, though Dhoze shows exactly how many markets are available to bet on in each sport which is a nice touch.
There’s a search bar on the top left and also Quick Links to popular betting markets just below this which makes finding the event you want to bet on faster and easier. On the top right are the Dhoze customer support options clearly indicated by logos and it’s handy having them so easily accessible. Dhoze customer support is decent and available 24/7, though a general help centre featuring FAQs could be better thought out and displayed.
Dhoze banking options include Visa, Mastercard, Neteller and Skrill amongst others but doesn’t include Paypal. There’s a Dhoze Android app but not one for iOS as it stands.
Conclusion
As a sportsbook and betting product aimed primarily at Portuguese and Spanish speaking markets Dhoze is unsurprisingly not very well known and does not spread its net particularly wide.
The Dhoze promotions and regular bonuses are solid though the site isn’t the most welcoming to bet on, and Dhoze mobile isn’t as good as it could be. It lets the side down with an Android app but not one for iOS.
Dhoze overall has a good coverage of football and a decent ice hockey selection but elsewhere it’s not at all comprehensive, and as for its live betting product, whilst adequate, it’s aging fast and in need of an overhaul.
