Betworld Sportsbook Review

Not to be confused with the similarly titled Big Bet World, BetWorld is another very new online bookmaker that was first licenced in 2013.

Operating under OnlineSoultions B.V., who are further sublicensed by CIL’s Master Gaming Licence, BetWorld are therefore licensed regulated by the government of Curacao.

To any veteran players it may be obvious that Betworld is designed almost identically to the more well know bookmaker Interwetten except for the colour scheme.

As a relatively young addition to the online industry, BetWorld are yet to sign any major sponsorship deals or have an ambassador to represent their product.

The bookmaker has a predominantly European focus, which is not surprising since it is currently restricted in the USA. The site operates in an amazing 11 languages and as well as English players have the choice of German, Greek, Czech, Spanish, French, Croatian, Italian, Polish Portuguese and Turkish.

BetWorld focus their efforts on the incredibly lucrative football market, with most of the webpage’s design being football themed and appearing the most in their top links. As well as their sportsbook, Betworld also have a Casino, Live Casino and Financial Betting. However, there is no racebook available on the site, which may put off some players.

Surprisingly, BetWorld has no social media presence whatsoever and this seems like a huge issue in terms of gaining players trust and confidence in an incredibly new brand.

Betting Markets

BetWorld has a great range of markets available and offers players very competitive odds, which is perhaps a result of being affiliated with the more established Interwetten.

Currently BetWorld has just over 30 sports available including: Football, Tennis, Ice Hockey, Basketball, American Football, Baseball, Handball, Golf, Volleyball, Formula 1, Futsal, Motorbike, Rugby, Australian Rules, Cycling, Table Tennis, Snooker, Cricket, Pool, Floorball, Darts, Boxing, Pesapallo, Bowls, Sailing, Chess, Alpine Skiing, Nordic Skiing, Biathlon, Politics and Poker.

Despite having a great range of markets available for a variety of players, remarkably there is still no option for betting on the lucrative and ever expanding E-Sports market, which ultimately feels like a missed opportunity for the bookmaker.

Live Betting

BetWorld, like a lot of new bookmakers, struggle to keep up with the market leaders when it comes to live betting in terms of live streaming and having a cashout option. These options are becoming more and more necessary in such a highly competitive industry and something BetWorld must look into.

Instead, they do offer a good range of odds and have great live visuals available for each game, which somewhat makes up for their lack of other features. They also have their own comprehensive set of statistics available, but the graphic design of these could be more appealing.

Usability of the site

Like Interwetten, the site is fairly intuitive even for the newest of players and is well designed. The layout is simple and has a basic blue and orange colour scheme, both of which give players a sleek and relaxed experience. Mobile support is also available on the website, but there is currently no app available on any mobile platform.

Shockingly there is only one real method of contact available if you run into any issues, which takes the form of an in-built messaging system. This means there is no e-mail address, phone number or live chat facility available, which is almost unheard of today for what is such an important feature of a website.

BetWorld does offer a range of promotions but currently there is no welcome bonus on their sportsbook, despite recently offering 100% on 100EUR deposits. Instead they only have 50% on 100EUR available for their casino.

In terms of payment options, BetWorld support the basic credit card options and three E-Wallet methods including Skrill, Neteller and Eco. Although acceptable, there could be much more choice made available for players.

Conclusion

Despite offering a good range of markets, competitive odds and a well designed platform, it is hard to fully trust a bookmaker that has no presence whatsoever on social media and has a poor customer support facility. If the bookmaker is to improve its image and gain confidence in its players much more work still needs to be dome.
