BetOlimp Sportsbook Review

Online betting operator BetOlimp is new to the scene and started out from its Malta base in 2015.

It’s European focused and is operated by parent company Olimp Group which has had a presence in the gaming industry since the early noughties. It has a Maltese licence though it does not, currently, have a UKGC licence meaning for UK players this is a no go zone for the time being.

Customers that can bet with BetOlimp have the option to bet on sports pre play or live, in addition to virtuals.

BetOlimp’s Twitter has over 1800 followers since it went live in April 2016. It’s on Facebook too. It has a blog and betting previews section of the site too. BetOlimp hasn’t yet engaged in any big marketing drives nor do they sponsor any teams or competitions in any sports. If they want to keep progressing it’s one route that they should consider, though their affiliate program appears popular and affiliates is one major source of bookmaker traffic.

Betting Markets

BetOlimp doesn’t offer casino betting so it’s all about the sports. As such it offers a solid selection of markets across sports, and within them. In full here they are: Football, Tennis, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Alpine Skiing, American Football, Badminton, Bandy, Biathlon, Boxing, Cricket, Darts, Esports, Floorball, Futsal, Golf, Handball, MMA, Rugby, Squash and Table Tennis.

It’s great that it offers sports such as Alpine Skiing and Futsal, but it doesn’t offer politics or entertainment markets. Virtuals included in the BetOlimp product are football, greyhounds, horse racing and tennis.

Live Betting

BetOlimp doesn’t offer live streaming which lets the side down on the inplay front but it has a decent selection of markets across sports so is worth a look regardless.

What it does offer punters is design; for example its Live Football Centre (delivered via Betradar) and the presentation of statistics. Many offer customers such stats but far fewer do it in such a digestible way.

BetOlimp offers cash out meaning players have more freedom when it comes to their bets.

Usability of the site

The site has a highly modern feel, and a limited tool bar at the top which is refreshing as it doesn’t overwhelm potential players with wagering options.

The colour scheme, a bold red and white is easy on the eye and it’s a nice site to browse through.

The option on the left hand side where it shows all of the sports to bet on is particularly well designed as it allows the option to switch between pre-match markets and those in-play. BetOlimp is available for punters and can be accessed in English, Russian, Chinese, Italian and German. Promotions for new and current customers is a big focus of BetOlimp and it offers things like First Deposit Bonus, Cashback Bonus and Accumulator Bonus.

In terms of customer service at BetOlimp customers have options such as live chat and email. It doesn’t have an option to call.

Deposit and withdrawal methods include Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard and more meaning customers are well looked after. BetOlimp is partnered with GamblingTherapy which does a lot of good work to help prevent gambling addiction, and equally, help those suffering from it.

There is a mobile optimised version of BetOlimp but it doesn’t have a mobile app.

Conclusion

BetOlimp is focused on sports betting and doesn’t offer casino. It’s a fantastic hub for sports betting enthusiasts as it has one of the best designs and layouts we’ve come across.

A mobile optimised site for those who bet on the go or on the train or wherever, coupled with betting previews, okay customer service and regular promotions it’s a betting operator on the up.
