Online bookmaker BetAdria was founded back in 2009. It is licensed and regulated by the authorities of Costa Rica.

The term Adria is derived from the Adriatic Sea which borders former Yugoslavia, and unsurprisingly BetAdria’s focus is predominantly on this Baltic region, operating in six languages including Serbian, Croatian Bosnian, Montenegrin, Macedonian and English. It is no surprise that this is where the majority of their players are subsequently based.

Operating since 2009, BetAdria still has no obvious sponsorship deals or any ambassadors to support its brand, and its presence online is extremely limited. The bookmaker is also restricted in the USA.

The focus of the sites sportsbook is based around lucrative football market, with most of the graphic design also keeping to this theme. The site also has a Casino, Live Games and Poker facilities.

Although they are based in Costa Rica, BetAdria do also have a UK business address which may help some players feel much more confident when it comes to using this bookmaker.

BetAdria have a Facebook page on which they regularly post updates and promotions to thousands of followers. They also have a much less successful Twitter account with only 59 followers despite regular daily updates and promotions being on offer.

Betting Markets

BetAdria have a somewhat limited sportsbook, with currently only 16 different markets available. However, they do display relatively competitive odds with a decent range of betting options available.

Currently BetAdria offer markets for Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Ice Hockey, American Football, Futsal, Cricket, Darts, Badminton, Boxing, Floorball, Rugby League and Rugby Union.

There is an obvious lack of some major sports including motorsports, racing, and E-Sports, and it is something that the bookmaker should consider for the future development.

Live Betting

The Live Betting facility is incredibly poor when compared to other bookmakers on this highly competitive industry. With no live streaming, visuals, cash out option or even statistics it is hard to imagine that players will be taken with this service.

A small positive is that the layout of the live betting page is incredibly simple and easy to operate, making players feel much more comfortable with how it works.

Usability of the site

The site uses a relatively plain blue and orange colour scheme, trying to instil a mood of the Adriatic in its players. Due to the sites very basic layout, the sportsbook is incredibly easy to navigate and players are not distracted by adverts and promotions that are found on many other bookmakers’ sites. However, one big drawback is the fact that there is no search bar, and all events have to be found by scrolling down a long list of games. There is also currently no mobile compatibility.

In terms of customer support, BetAdria only have an e-mail address available, but currently when clicking on their Contact link a blank page is brought up, a major problem that also occurs with their Terms and Conditions, About Us and Help links.

BetAdria have a rather limited range of payment options, but it does include the basics such as Skrill and Neteller. The bookmaker is also currently running a few promotions with a welcome bonus of 25% up to 400EUR, an unspecified monthly bonus and a Parlay bonus of 25% if successful.

Conclusion

BetAdria do not stand out in any special way when it comes to their product, and ultimately despite offering a simple player experience, there are major issues when it comes to most elements of the bookmaker.

With limited betting markets, a poor live betting experience and a terrible online experience with broken web links, poor layouts and even a lack of mobile support, it is hard to praise too much about BetAdria.
