OddsRing Sportsbook Review

OddsRing was first founded in 2011, now giving it five years in which it has been growing and expanding.

The bookmaker is based in Malta and is licensced and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

Using the memorable slogan, “turn the odds in your favour,” OddsRing have created a service that provides their sportsbook, live Casino, Games, Netent games, TV games and BetSoft games. The sportsbook is the main focus of the site, and specifically they focus on the incredibly lucrative Football market.

The bookmaker operates in English, Czech, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Portuguese (Portugal) and Turkish highlighting their focus on predominantly Eastern Europe and South America. The bookmaker is currently restricted in the USA.

Despite being founded over five years ago, OddsRing still have a relatively low presence online with no major sponsorship deals and ambassador. They also don’t have the largest following on social media with less than 500 followers across Twitter and Facebook combined. Their last posts on social media were 4 months ago, demonstrating just how little attention they give to this.

Betting Markets

OddsRing has relatively competitive odds compared to other bookmakers of its size and they offer a modest range of markets for their players, including:

Football, Tennis, Ice Hockey, Basketball, American Football, Badminton, Baseball, Boxing, Cricket, Darts, Floorball, Futsal, Handball, Mixed Martial Arts, Rugby, Snooker, Volleyball and Outrights.

However, there are some major sports missing from there list including motor sports, horse and dog racing, golf and E-sports. The lack of E-sports is particularly noticeable, and as an ever-growing market that is demanding more and more attention from players it is something that should be seriously considered.

Live Betting

The live betting facility from OddsRing is rather simple and plain, offering players nothing but a list of wagers available. With no live streaming, visuals or even an option for cash-out.

If they are to remain competitive then they need to start offering an in-play facility that can attract new, uncertain players.

Usability of the site

The site itself feels well designed and gives players a smooth, enjoyable experience when navigating through their markets. The navy blue and gold colour scheme works well, and when coupled with their refreshing lack of advertisements visually OddsRing is calming and relaxing for players. There is mobile support available and the design feels just as good as the desktop version.

In terms of customer support, OddsRing just have an e-mail address and an in-built messaging box that is available from 7am-10pm CET. This can be quite frustrating if you run into any problems and there is no option for live chat, a feature that is becoming almost indispensible.

In terms of promotions, OddsRing have an excellent advert that highlights their amazing 200% up to 200EUR. However, it is only after you read the details that you realise to access this you have to earn ‘ring points’ to access the bonus. One of these is earned for every euro you win or lose, and to access the full 200% you need to earn 5000 ring points.

OddsRIng have a modest range of payment options including all the basic options such as Skrill, Neteller, EcoPayz and PaySafe. Although, there could be more consideration given to these options in future as E-Wallets become more and more common.

Conclusion

Overall OddsRing provide a decent service but if they are to remain competitive and offer players the best experience then much more work needs to be put into their live-play and their customer support. Otherwise it is all to easy to disappear in the growing number of bookmakers that are now appearing.
