12bet Sportsbook Review

Asian betting operator 12BET was founded in 2007. It’s an online sportsbook and casino operator which is licensed by the Isle of Man and the UK too.

It has a growing international reputation, the site is available in multiple languages and it has grown brand awareness via respectable sponsorships and partnerships. In 2009 for instance it agreed a deal with Newcastle United FC to become its official gaming and betting partner. That same year it signed a shirt sponsorship deal with La Liga side Sevilla.

English fans will remember the name from 2011-12, this was the season in which it sponsored Wigan Athletic. A year later it became the stadium sponsor and betting partner of Crystal Palace. It has also established partnerships with Coventry City, Swansea and Hull City too. More recently 12BET became an official betting partner of Leicester City FC.

Leicester City Heads of Partnerships Harj Hir said: “We’re delighted to enter into a partnership with 12Bet, who have a fantastic record of sponsorship in sport. As one of the leading global betting companies, we look forward to working with them over the coming season.”

The focus on football is evident and of no great surprise as the number one sports betting market, but 12BET has also ensured it gains awareness in other markets such as snooker wherein it has sponsored the UK Championship.

Some controversy arrived in 2012 after 12BET closed the accounts of thousands of customers during the Cheltenham Festival claiming bonus abuse. After an uproar on social media 12BET agreed to refund 75% of affected customers.

12BET has over 4,500 followers on Twitter.

Betting Markets

12BET loves football as is clear from its sponsorships but it doesn’t stop there, customers can bet on all of the following sports too: Darts, Football, Tennis, Horse Racing, Golf, Cricket, American Football, Baseball, Bandy, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Esports, Handball, Ice Hockey, MMA, Motor Racing, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker & Pool, Speedway, Surfing, Volleyball, Winter Sports and Chess.

This is in addition to Specials markets. Being an Asian bookie the Asian handicap markets are vast.

Live Betting

12BET has a great live betting product. The graphics are great, it’s well presented and boasts live streaming too! It’s excellent on both web and mobile, and is one of the best reasons to bet with 12BET. It offers cash out too.

Usability of the site

12BET’s site is great and it is equally responsive and well designed on mobile. The colour scheme, a cool red, white and black gives it a sleek appearance and the limited navigation bars (Sports, Casino and Live Casino) add to this.

The payment methods, from Visa and Mastercard to Skrill and Neteller, are solid; payments are processed quickly though Paypal is not accepted.

There is live chat and email to choose from should you need customer support though no phone service. Markets are easy to search through with good organisation and a search bar too. A promotions section would be a bonus, as would a sports betting blog but the lack of these isn’t the end of the world.

Conclusion

12BET excels at football and particularly Asian Handicap markets. Odds are well priced, there’s a great depth of betting options and the12BET welcome offer is a generous one.

The bookie’s mobile product is great too but it should add a promotions section to ensure ultimate current customer satisfaction.
